The Inaugural Alberta’s Finest Drinks Lists Awards!

Not only does Alberta have the largest selection of wine, beer, and spirits in the country, it also has some of the finest sommeliers, buyers, and beverage directors – working hard in a competitive industry to find the very best in a bottle for their patrons, clients, and visitors.

Culinaire Magazine is looking to find the very best drink lists to feature in our September 2017 issue, and we’d love to see yours in our results.

There is absolutely no cost to participate in these awards for any restaurant, bar, or other on-premise venue, though we do require a little bit of information in addition to your current list (current as of June 1 – the list a customer would see).

Simply complete the application form by July 25, 2017.

Separate Lists (i.e. beer or spirit list in addition to the wine list), should be entered individually.

Each venue, if part of a larger group of venues, should be entered separately if the list varies between venues.

The lists will be evaluated by a panel of drink-savvy Albertans in the trade and the media from Calgary and Edmonton, and results will be compiled in July.

Winners will be notified by the first week of August.

Results will be published in the September issue of Culinaire. Culinaire Magazine may ask for an image for the results or may send a photographer to shoot the location at our discretion.

Judges will be announced June 1, 2017.

Each Category will have a clear “winner” with a number of “runners-up” depending on the total number of entries in each category. We, as well as you, want these results to be meaningful, valuable, and to help clearly identify those with a great list.

Supplemental Award Materials will be provided (at no cost) to winning lists in September 2017.

We look forward to hearing from you!
