White Blends

White Blends is a category that just doesn’t get the attention it deserves. There was tremendous quality and variety on display and most of these wines were a pleasure to drink. There was a style for everyone, from dry and crisp to soft, round and fruity. Overall the wines were very good and offers tremendous value for consumers. The very best of these wines have a wonderful balance of fruit and acid, along with minimal oak use. The category winner, the Silver Lining Estate White, is just such a wine. Beautifully balanced and very complex with a long satisfying finish, it represents incredible value as well. Tim Harder
