Well, I bet here’s a new grape for you! From Trentino in the far north of Italy, this wine is fresh and exciting. On the nose it’s apricot and citrus – a fresh fruit salad of mandarin, lime and lemon, and on the palate it’s bright and refreshing, but manages to be soft and creamy too. I paired it with calamari and artichoke frito with kaffir aioli, cherry tomatoes and
baby arugula at Vero Bistro to start the evening. It was a huge success; the acidity cut through the fried calamari and artichok while complementing the lime aioli perfectly. Yhe creamy mouthfeel was just the icing on the cake with the calamari!
