West Canadian and Orange Door Direct recently announced the first ever winner of their Hidden Gem YYC contest! We are thrilled to break the news to you!
West Canadian and Orange Door Direct are absolutely thrilled to announce the winner of our first ever Hidden Gem YYC makeover:
INTI Restaurant Peruvian Cuisine – 3132 26st NE
You may be asking yourself, what is Peruvian cooking? Well, it is nothing short of delicious. Peruvian is a star cuisine in many of North America’s foodie meccas and Inti Restaurant is bringing it to Calgary. Inti encapsulates the flavours of modern South American cooking by mixing fresh ingredients with classic culinary techniques. Chef/owner Hans Puccinelli serves up dishes that reflect the diversity, flare and soul of Peru including roasterie chicken, ceviche, yuca frites and tres leche cake.
We are so excited to work with Chef Hans and his family on this project. Their passion and enthusiasm is contagious. It will no doubt be reflected in the signage and design makeover.
“It is just so terrific to be able to help a small business in this city become exposed to thousands of people” explains West Canadian CEO, George Brookman.
So many great Hidden Gems were nominated for this contest. It was very hard to narrow the field and even harder to choose a winner. A few of the standout nominees included Saffron Mantra, Naina’s Kitchen, Heaven Artisan GF and Sweet Life Crepes and Waffles. Each served delicious food and a great story to tell.
Next time you’re headed out for dinner and looking to break from the chain restaurant, give a hidden gem a try.
