Vaticano's Anchovy Butter


2 cups butter

1 Tbs minced garlic

24 anchovies, drained and minced

2 tsp paprika

2 Tbs (30 mL) lemon juice

1 Tbs minced parsley

1 Tbs lemon zest

1 tsp pepper


  1. Chop all ingredients very fine and mix thoroughly.
  2. Roll into tubes about the diameter of a large coin. Cover with plastic wrap, tie off ends and refrigerate.
  3. Slice into discs to serve melting over grilled meats (or fish!).
