Vina Herminia Crianza 2011

This Crianza has such a seductive nose, you’ll want to keep swirling it and smelling it! It is a blend of 85 per cent tempranillo and 15 per cent garnacha, with aromas of black raspberries, cherries and plums, mixed with vanilla and a little mintyness. When you take a sip, your mouth is filled with silky wine, rounded and softened by barrel and bottle aging, and drinking perfectly right now. We really enjoyed it with veal ravioli coated with 12-hour slow-cooked Berkshire pork ragout and vine ripened tomatoes, but it’s tailor-made for dishes with chorizo and black olives – bring on the Serrano ham and tapenade! +778273 $22
